Bambu PLA Glow

Bambu Lab PLA Sparkle Filament Unique Glow in Low Light Conditions Comes with Basic Reusable Spool Diameter: 1.75mm +/- 0.03mm Cautions for Use A Hardened Steel Nozzle is required when printing Stainless Steel Nozzles NOT Compatible 0.2 mm nozzles NOT Compatible AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT & AMS Compatible, but can lead to faster wear AMS lite NOT Compatible PLA Glow stands out due to its incorporation of a unique additive: luminous powder. This variant retains the familiar qualities of traditional PLA, including easy printing, high quality, and exceptional overall mechanical properties. What sets PLA Glow apart is its distinctive feature - it glows in the dark. This makes it the optimal selection for crafting luminous nameplates, logos, jewelry, and various models that require a captivating glow effect. Unique Glow in Low Light Conditions Bambu PLA Glow incorporates a distinct additive: luminous powder, which imparts a special property to printed objects, causing them to emit a captivating glow in the dark. Accessory Compatibility Recommended Not Recommended Build Plate Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI Plate, Textured PEI Plate / Hotend Hotend with Hardened Steel Nozzle 0.4 mm / 0.6 mm / 0.8 mm Hotend with Stainless Steel Nozzle Glue Bambu Liquid Glue Glue Stick / AMS & AMS lite AMS AMS lite* It is not recommended to print Bambu PLA Glow and other glow-in-the-dark PLA filaments with AMS Lite. These filaments, being hard and rough, may cause feeding failures due to substantial feeding resistance. Recommended Printing Settings Drying Settings (Blast Drying Oven) 55 °C，8 h Printing and Keeping Container's Humidity < 20% RH (Sealed, with Desiccant) Nozzle Temperature 190 - 230 °C Bed Temperature (with Glue) 35 - 45 °C Printing Speed < 250 mm/s Physical Properties Density 1.26 g/cm³ Vicat Softening Temperature 56 °C Heat Deflection Temperature 55 °C Melting Temperature 155 °C Melt Index 23.3± 2.4 g/10 min Mechanical Properties Tensile Strength 32 ± 3 MPa Breaking Elongation Rate 8.6 ± 1.2 % Bending Modulus 2640 ± 130 MPa Bending Strength 76 ± 4 MPa Impact Strength 27.3 ± 2.2 kJ/m²   Printing Tips Drying conditions: 55℃ for 8 hrs. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI. Printing with a 0.2 mm nozzle is not recommended; instead, it is advised to use a 0.4 mm nozzle for optimal results. The model's luminous intensity diminishes over time, but exposure to ultraviolet or sunlight for a brief period (approximately 2 hours) can rejuvenate its glow. However, prolonged or frequent irradiation may expedite PLA aging. Not suitable for AMS lite: Utilizing AMS lite may result in high feed resistance and an increased risk of feed failure. Consider alternative methods such as pre-use drying for better outcomes. Downloads Filament TDS Filament MSDS Filament RoHS
