The Deities Collection recounts the tale of three Southeast Asian mythical creatures – the Nagar Min, Balu, and Galone – and explores the essence of beings and the intricate dualities that exist within us. The second fragrance in the collection, Balu depicts a human-eating, ogre-like deity known for its strength as well as its deceptive and shapeshifting qualities. Balu is a decadent concoction opening with rich notes of dates & blackcurrant leaf, leading into a sweet heart of molasses, cocoa & condensed milk and rounding off with a base of vanilla pods & tonka bean.  Each character represents both the light and shadow sides innate to all of us, and the need to accept, evolve and work with all the sides of ourselves.  Think: How do we transmute our greed & ambition to create desired outcomes for good?
