Bald and Otherwise - Atlan Arceo-Witzl

Bald & Otherwise by Atlan Arceo-Witzl / 28-page, 5 x 7 inch risograph booklet published by Perfectly Acceptable *** Bald & Otherwise is an exploration of the eagle as a visual form. They appear on objects you could hold in the palm of your hand, emblazon the side of semi-trucks, and represent organizations that have nothing to do with animals whatsoever! In these pages you'll discover how many times you can re-hash an image and to what ends. You might engage out of curiosity, for research, or just for the fun of it! However, once you start seeing these predatory fowl everywhere, you know the curse of the eagle eye has set in. Atlan Arceo-Witzl is a Mexican-American general maker of things whose work is concerned with everyday rituals, icons, symbols, objects, and language.
