Balanced Leather Leech - Peacock

The Balanced Leather Leech is typically fished suspended under a strike indicator for trout, panfish, and bass.  The Peacock colored Balanced Leather Leech uses a 90-degree jig hook and a bright, copper colored bead to counterbalance the hook and keep the leech suspended in a horizontal position.  The leather looking tail keeps the fly undulating like a leech.  A floating strike indicator keeps the fly suspended in the fish's feeding zone and a gentle chop on the surface provides a subtle jigging action to the fly.  The Balanced Leather Leech is highly productive on trout but definitely give this a try for crappie, bass, and other panfish. Size 10 with a total length of approx. 1 3/8 inches.
