Balance Leech - Black Eye

Balanced Leech flies are very effective and becoming very popular with trout lake anglers.  These Balance Leech patterns from Aqua Flies are exceptionally tied and come in great colors like this Black Eye color version, which features subtle blue, purple, red and other fine, flashy fibers mixed in with the black dubbing that constitutes the body. The idea behind the Balance Leech is that is suspends beneath a strike indicator at your desired depth.  The fly, because it is "balanced" sits horizontally in the water column.  A little chop on the surface or a slow hand-twist retrieve provides all the action necessary for a deadly presentation to trout, bass, and panfish.
