Bailing Out - 1921 East Texas Oil Field - Fine Art Print

Bailing Out - 1921 This is one lucky roughneck. Or unlucky. It all depends on you perspective. What do you think is going through his mind in this moment? Bills? His old lady's nagging? His beef with the boss? Nope. I'm pretty sure all this guy cared about was a happy reunion with Mother Earth. Here you have it. A thousand words in the blink of an eye (I stole that line from Guy Clark). What do you bet this guy told this story for the rest of his life? This image comes from an old East Texas estate and is dated 1921 on the back. It'll look damn good on your wall, don't you think? Definitely a conversation starter.
