Backlapping is an important part of maintaining light and smooth cutting action of the reel blade and bedknife for optimal shearing effectiveness. It's for use on current and older California Trimmer Classic, Commercial & Crossover models that have an 11-tooth sprocket on the reel blade, and the kit includes an adapter, 80 grit lapping compound and an applicator brush.
