Backcountry Burn

Spicy BBQ Rub: Sweet Heat. Deep Smoke. Unforgettable Flavor. Built for pitmasters who like their barbecue bold, bright, and unapologetically spicy, this rub layers smoky warmth, electrifying chiles, and sweet caramelized notes for a perfect balance of fire and flavor. It delivers stunning color, a killer crust, and a heat level that’s exciting without overwhelming the meat. What It Tastes Like A bold rush of smoky chile flavor, followed by warm sweetness, bright spice, and a satisfying, fruity heat that lingers in the best way. It’s complex, layered, and built for people who like their BBQ with personality and punch. Why It Works This rub is built on balance: sweet, spicy, smoky, savory, and colorful. The sugar and honey granules help form an exceptional crust, while the chile powders deliver heat with depth, not bitterness. Meanwhile, mustard, celery seed, and cilantro lift the whole blend and keep it bright. The result? Serious flavor. Serious heat. Serious BBQ.
