BA-64-126

The BA-64-126 represents a rare, turretless staff car variant of the BA-64 that never moved beyond the concept phase. Designed to carry a driver and two passengers, it featured a lowered hull roofline and windshields repurposed from captured Volkswagen Schwimmwagens. A similar field modification was independently developed by the Red Army, reflecting experimental approaches to adapting existing armored cars for command and liaison roles.
