B6-0 Engines

The Estes B6-0 booster engine is engineered specifically for two stage model rockets where a clean, dependable lift from the lower stage is critical. With a short, energetic thrust curve, the B6-0 gets your rocket to altitude and separates stages with authority while remaining easy to handle for backyard and club launches alike. It is sized for standard 18 mm motor mounts and is intended to be used in combination with a standard delayed or instant upper stage engine. What makes the B6-0 stand out is its consistency. You can expect the same ignition response and thrust profile from flight to flight which makes staging timing predictable and recovery planning simple. That predictable performance gives you confidence when testing new staging setups or when teaching others how two stage rockets operate. The B6-0 is repeatable, safe when used correctly, and a great engine for learning advanced flight techniques without sacrificing reliability. Use the B6-0 when you want a strong, short duration boost for lightweight rockets up to about 4 ounces including the engines. Each package ships with the launch essentials so you can prepare and fly quickly. Whether you are refining separation distances, practicing stage ignition timing, or just adding a new layer of excitement to your flights, the B6-0 delivers a satisfying, consistent boost that helps your designs perform as intended. Always follow Estes instructions and local safety codes when preparing and launching model rockets. Make sure staging hardware is installed correctly and that the booster and upper stage engines are properly secured before each flight. Ready to step up your two stage flights? Add the Estes B6-0 booster engines to your kit and enjoy reliable, repeatable stage performance.
