Ayatul Kursi “Abstract Terrazzo” Islamic Art

Gold, ivory and copper strokes highlight a circular Arabic Calligraphy interpretation of "Ayatul Kursi". Ayatul Kursi (meaning: the Throne), ayah 255 from Surah Baqarah is the Greatest verse of the Holy Quran. Whoever recites it with conviction immediately after each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing standing between them and entering Paradise except death. It also serves as a protection from evil.  The artwork was inspired by the modern décor trend to include quartz, stone, granite and glass terrazzo on walls and floors. The use of terrazzo / stone in this artwork is reminiscent of a desire to stay grounded in our faith and values within modern contexts. With Ayatul Kursi as its centrepiece, this artwork marries modern style with one of the cornerstones of Islam.   Product details - Original Art: This artwork was originally made by hand by one of our founders. - Quality Materials: For a distinctive & luxurious visual experience, this piece has been hand-printed on premium, ¼ inch glossy acrylic with superior, long-lasting UV ink.
