AXIS Kite Foil Package 740

The small, quick complete kite foil, and the one to look at if you are a lighter rider. The SURGE 740 is the smallest wing in the family and it is a favourite among kite foilers: enormous control at speed, easy to pump, and playful in a way the bigger sizes are not. Riders reaching their fastest speeds on AXIS gear with a kite are doing it on this wing. What makes it a lighter rider's package is the rear wing. It is built on the small rears rather than the 320 the bigger SURGE packages carry: a rider at or under about 75 kg wants a PROGRESSIVE 275 or a SURF SKINNY 280, and that is exactly what riders on this wing report using. The Progressive is the more forgiving and has a touch more lift; the Surf Skinny is looser and faster. If you are heavier than about 80 kg, look at the 780 or 830 package instead, or keep this wing and size the rear up. What is in the package SURGE 740 Black Ultrashort Advance+ Fuselage 19mm Aluminium Mast: 90cm, or choose 75, 82 or 105cm above Fuselage to 19mm Mast Adapter (Doodad) 19mm Foil Base Plate Your choice of rear wing: PROGRESSIVE 275 or SURF SKINNY 280/43 Upgrade to Power Carbon Choose Upgrade to Power Carbon above and the package comes with an AXIS Power Carbon mast in place of the aluminium one, at 75 or 90cm. Power Carbon is AXIS's one-piece carbon mast, built for stiffness and a direct, connected feel between board and foil. It carries its own base plate and bolts straight to the fuselage, so the doodad and the aluminium base plate drop out of the package, and the price shown is the package with the carbon mast in their place. Everything bolts together as supplied, and every part is a standard AXIS component, so the whole AXIS range of front wings, rear wings and fuselages stays open to you as you go on.
