Axiom Crave (Total Eclipse)

The Axiom Crave in Total Eclipse is the stable, straight control driver in glow plastic. The Crave is one of Axiom's best known drivers and one of the most dependable straight fairway drivers in disc golf, and Total Eclipse lets you throw it after dark. Flight Numbers: 6.5 / 5 / -1 / 1 Total Eclipse is Axiom's color glow plastic, with glowing cores and rims. It takes a little longer to charge than regular Eclipse, so give it a good dose under a blacklight or bright light before a night round. As with most plastics, expect the Crave to get a little flippier as it beats in. It flies straighter than a Teebird and glides farther. Thrown flat it holds dead straight. On a hyzer it flips up to flat and rides, which is the first shot a lot of people learn with it. It gets real distance at medium power. It is also easy to throw forehand because the disc is flat and the rim is easy to grip. A safe pick for beginners who are ready for a fairway driver and intermediate players who want a dependable straight line. Big arms can throw it full power for a stable, straight finish. Want the same flight in a non-glow plastic? The Axiom Cosmic Neutron Crave and the Axiom Plasma Crave are the usual picks. Looking for the glow version from a different release? The Axiom Eclipse Glow Crave is another way to play it after dark. See the full Crave collection or browse fairway drivers. Speed 6.5, glide 5, turn -1, fade 1. Diameter 21.1 cm, rim width 1.8 cm, max weight 175 g.
