Avinet Beginner's Birdwatching Kit

Birdwatching is a wonderful way to connect with the natural world. In this time of collective uncertainty, observing birds gives us the opportunity to get out of the house and experience moments of peace and awe. Happy Spring 2024! Avinet is excited to offer a beginner’s kit for fledglings just getting into birdwatching. This kit provides you with everything you will need in one package -- binoculars, field guide, and all the essential knowledge and accessories: The Vortex Optics Crossfire® HD 10x42 Binoculars deliver exceptional resolution and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission. These are fantastic, lightweight binoculars that offer rugged performance and high end form at a value-price. With Sibley's Birding Basics, learn how to interpret what the feathers, the anatomical structure, and the sounds of a bird tell you. When you know the clues that show you why there’s no such thing as, for example, “just a duck” birding will be more fun, and more meaningful. The Rite in the Rain Polydura Birder's Journal is designed to survive rain, mud, and your birding pack so you can always recall special sightings. Document your observations in detail inside this journal. Choose between The Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Western North America or The Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America based on your geographical location. These essential field guides feature accurate illustrations with descriptive captions pointing out the most important field marks. Each entry has been updated to include the most current information concerning frequency, nesting, behavior, food and feeding, voice description, and key identification features.  And lastly, it all comes inside a handy branded Backpack, made to carry all your birding essentials! We also include a few additional laminated informational sheets to help orient fledgling birdwatchers. Have fun! Vortex Optics products come with VIP Unlimited Lifetime Warranty. Binoculars will be repaired or replaced at no charge. (Excludes loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the performance of the product.)  Sorry, we can't ship this product outside of the US. Happy birdwatching!
