Aviation Gin

About Aviation Gin Welcome to the world of Aviation Gin, an American craft spirit that soars above the rest. Crafted in Portland, Oregon, this versatile gin offers a contemporary twist on classic gin botanicals, making it the perfect choice for those who appreciate the art of mixology and seek to elevate their home bar experience. A Little-known Fact Aviation Gin is named after the classic "Aviation" cocktail, a pre-Prohibition-era gin-based drink that inspired the brand's founders to create a gin that could effortlessly complement a wide range of cocktail recipes while still maintaining its distinctive character. Tasting Notes Aviation Gin is characterized by its soft, smooth, and approachable profile. The nose reveals delicate notes of juniper, lavender, and citrus, while the palate is graced by flavors of cardamom, anise, and sarsaparilla. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a pleasant, lingering warmth. Cocktail Recommendation The Classic Aviation: In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz Aviation Gin, 1/2 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, 1/4 oz crème de violette, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice, and shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a cherry or a lemon twist. Production Notes Aviation Gin is distilled in small batches using a proprietary maceration process that infuses the spirit with its unique blend of botanicals. The result is a balanced, full-bodied gin that retains the essence of its ingredients while offering a distinctively modern flavor profile.
