The secret is in the bead chain, just ask any permit. Not only does this fly have heavy lead eyes to get it DOWN, it also has a loop of mono with a string of four beads on it that act as a keel to keep this fly on the bottom. The silver beads reflect the sand or turtle grass around them - do not be fooled by cheap knock-off brands with black beads.
