Autumn Classic Lyons Studios Limited Edition Aviation Print

For anyone who enjoys taking in the rich visual delights of fall's changing colors, Sam Lyons' Autumn Classic is a feast for the eyes that lasts all year long. As its name implies, the 16" x 21" illustration depicts a sensational assortment of spectacular fall foliage from all over the color spectrum. While the flora is certainly a sight to behold in its own right, observers will also marvel at Lyons' superb rendering of a classic Cessna 195 Businessliner. In addition to the taildragger's sleek paint job, plane spotters will note the outstanding degree of true-to-life accuracy in the aircraft's structure. Everything from the shape of the cowl over its Jacobs R-755 radial to its trademark straight taper wings to the characteristic curvature of its vertical fin is identical to that found on production 195s. Viewers will also enjoy the artist's depiction of the distinctive hangar - complete with rooftop windsock and old-school gas pump - as well as the stunning cerulean sky and vivid surface hues that further contribute to the drawing's visual appeal. This image is available as both an Artist Proof (limited to 75) and a signed & numbered Limited Edition print (limited to 750). Both versions are printed on acid-free paper, utilize first-rate permanent inks, and include a Certificate of Authenticity. A dazzling display of nature's changing seasons that any aviation art aficionado will be delighted to call his/her own.
