Austria

Serving as my 'before' anchor, this charcoal piece inspires me to reflect on my past challenges and envision the bright future ahead. During a transformative journey through the Austrian Alps with cherished loved ones, I captured a moment that became the catalyst for this work. The landscape served as more than scenery—it became a meditation on the distinction between fear and anxiety. While anxiety frequently clouds judgment, fear functions as an authentic signal, illuminating our boundaries and revealing pathways to transcend them. This piece represents the convergence of intellectual and emotional exploration, translating personal revelation into visual form. 18" x 24" Strathmore 80lbs. (130 g/m2) paper. Black charcoal and white charcoal highlights.
