Aussie Snap Swivels (2 Pack)

Aussie Snap Swivel - A heavy duty snap swivel with smooth rotation and lasting durability.  400lb and 600lb choices. Black or silver. (2/pk) -- A small but vital part of your terminal-tackle, Rite Angler’s Aussie Snap Swivels have smooth rotation, lasting durability, and strong welded rings for all types of heavy-duty fishing. Useful terminal tackle for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. They’re effective for preventing line twisting and kinks with your rigs especially if you’re trolling or casting lures. A good quality ball-bearing swivel will keep rotating and keep your line twist-free even under a heavy load. They do cost more, but for certain types of fishing, like offshore trolling, you can't afford to not use them. If you need tough terminal tackle, Rite Angler’s Aussie Snap Swivels are the most reliable swivel you’ll find for big game fish.  Use with heavy tackle, such as 80 or 130lb when traditional swivels might fail. They are most typically used to connect a heavy wind-on leader to a short leader or to connect heavy braid or monofilament to heavy leaders, and for wire-line trolling. Why choose a ball-bearing snap swivel? Ball-bearing vs barrel swivels.  Both swivels cover almost all your saltwater fishing needs. Barrel swivels are popular due to their wide range of sizes and affordability, however, their biggest disadvantages are the increased inability to turn with a heavy load and a shorter lifespan due to the metal-on-metal friction. Conversely, a good quality ball-bearing swivel will keep rotating and keep your line twist-free even under a heavy load. They do cost more, but for certain types of fishing, like offshore trolling, you can’t afford to not use them. As with all Rite Angler products, the finest in raw materials and handmade craftsmanship go into our heavy duty snap swivels. Pulling large fish to the surface can be a challenge. This is why these snap swivels are strong and designed to handle the job. Satisfaction guaranteed. 2 Pack WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Di(2-ethlhexyl)phthalate (DEHP).
