Aurifil 50wt Cotton Thread - Light Sand 2000

Aurifil originated in the Italian high fashion and luxury linen markets, but today this 100% Egyptian cotton thread is known for its versatility, strength, and radiant color with very little lint by quilters, sewists, and textile artisans. Aurifil 50 wt. cotton thread is available in 270 colors and 2 spool sizes to match any project. The 2-ply construction makes it thinner than other threads of similar weights, making it perfect for precision piecing and needle turn applique. However, its strength makes it an extremely versatile thread for other types of projects too, including, english paper piecing, hand piecing, machine applique, and dense machine quilting.
