N200 High-Performance Music Server

Get the most out of your home audio system by adding the Aurender N200, a high-performance caching music server. As a dedicated high-performance digital output network transport the N200 does not have an internal DAC, requiring connection to an external DAC of your choice, and has no analog outputs. Its combination of exceptional audio performance, unique feature set, and high-end build quality make the N200 a highly desirable model within the Aurender range. The N200 is the updated and improved version of the N100SC offering an all-new low-power Intel quad-core processor, low-noise linear power supply, and increased system memory. The result? Higher fidelity to your digital files and streams. The unit supports all the recent Aurender innovations like cache-based playback, the latest-generation modular USB audio output, double isolated gigabit ethernet port, and super-capacitor-based uninterruptible UPS. Capable of handling PCM up to 384kHz and DSD up to DSD512, the Aurender N200 is a high-quality music server designed for audiophiles and music enthusiasts who are passionate about great performance. Dragon Cable Recommendation: We recommend pairing the Aurender N200 Caching Music Server with our Black Dragon Power Cable, Silver Dragon Network Cable, Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable, and Silver Dragon USB Cable (USB A to C). The Silver Dragon Network Cable will provide a stable ethernet connection to the Aurender N200 for music streaming and data transmission. The solid-core silver conductors in the cable provide high speed, low latency, and low jitter-perfect bit rate communication between audio components. Our Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable with RCA connectors will provide plenty of detail and an open presentation to your music, providing the best digital transmission possible for your gear. Our Silver Dragon USB Cable will provide the most stable connection for digital transmission between your source device and N200. Our USB cables have been optimized for audio transmission of large high-resolution audio files, so you can enjoy your music with the utmost fidelity. The Black Dragon Power Cable is the ultimate power cable designed to be dead quiet and reject all EMI and RFI interference. 4-11Awg Stranded high-purity slow-drawn Copper conductors are used per cable in a star Quad configuration. The cable has a single 100% coverage shield but can be doubled up for noisy environments plus it is relatively flexible. Black Dragon Power Cable, Silver Dragon Network Cable, Silver Dragon USB (USB A to C), Silver Dragon Digital Coax RCA Stunning Rack Appeal The Aurender N200 is the perfect unit to add to your existing hi-fi audio setup, with the perfect form factor for an audiophile-grade rack. A 6.9" full-color IPS LCD display sits front and center, rendering album artwork and track information in gorgeous detail. As an added bonus the N200 comes in two finishes, black and silver, for an even more customized look. Built for many music lovers, Aurender has omitted the expensive OCXO-controlled digital audio board for a simple, dedicated USB audio output in the N200. It's smaller than the N20, and features similar functionality on the front panel. Press the display menu button to cycle through various display options including song information, level meters, and a playlist menu. Playlists can be selected and played using the four buttons on the front panel to pause, play, track skip, and scroll through playlists. The Aurender N200 is built with two HDD/SSD internal trays for user-installable storage. Load up to two 2.5" HDD or solid-state drives. And if you're steaming, no drives need to be installed! All Aurender products are controlled by the Aurender Conductor app, which is supported on iPad, iPhone, Android phones, and tablets. On the app, users can access their music library, favorite streaming services, and control the settings of the N200. On the rear panel of the Aurender N200, you'll find a Coaxial RCA and USB Audio 2.0 digital audio output. There's also a USB 3.0 port, double isolated ethernet port, earth/ground terminal, AC power switch, and AC power socket. The dedicated USB 2.0 output is designed to connect to asynchronous USB DACs, while the USB 3.0 data port can be used to copy files from USB memory devices or pair external components (ex. USB-to-RS232 dongle, MSB Prol25-to-clock module, constellation preamps, amps, etc.). For the best audio performance, do not use the USB 3.0 port as a USB audio output. Two transformers in the ethernet port circuit work to provide noise filtration without signal loss. Inclusive Design for Great Performance As with all Aurender music servers, the Aurender N200 benefits from being an inclusive design, meaning that all the necessary technology required for file serving or streaming music is incorporated within one audio component. This approach provides a high level of stability, reliability, and predictability of operation which results in superior sound quality and user experience. The N200 features a fully-linear power supply block for a low-noise floor, allowing the nuances and details of your music to shine. Supercapacitor uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system protects your unit in case of an abrupt loss of power. The Aurender N200 is capable of handling PCM up to 384kHz and DSD content up to DSD512 via USB. Compatible audio formats include DSD, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC, M4A, and APE. For Native DSD playback, if the DAC supports the industry-standard DoP protocol, then it will be compatible with Aurender's DSD output. DoP is a lossless, unadulterated transmission of DSD from source to DAC. The SPDIF audio output supports PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz and DSD (DoP) up to DSD64. The Aurender N200 also has compatibility with Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify connect.
