Aukko Dining Table

The Ferm Living Aukko Dining Table is a masterful blend of architecture and design, inspired by Jørn Utzon's renowned Can Lis home in Mallorca. Created in collaboration with Utzon – Can Lis, this table reflects the architect's philosophy of merging structure with nature. Crafted from FSC™ Mix-certified Douglas fir, the table combines practicality with an artistic presence. The Aukko Dining Table features a sculptural base constructed from carefully arranged wooden slats, forming a striking visual contrast to the smooth, circular tabletop. Its monolithic design gives it a bold yet inviting appearance, making it a statement piece for dining spaces. Designed with flat-pack construction, it offers convenience without compromising on craftsmanship or durability. True to its natural material, the Douglas fir wood brings warmth and organic character to the table. Over time, the wood develops a unique patina, enhancing its charm. However, as a softwood, it may be susceptible to marks from sharp objects, adding to its lived-in beauty. Perfect for both contemporary and classic interiors, the Ferm Living Aukko Dining Table is more than just furniture—it's a testament to timeless design and architectural influence.
