August Moon Hosta

Brighten up shady spaces with the striking color of August Moon Hosta. This standout perennial features large, heart-shaped leaves in a glowing chartreuse-gold that brings light and contrast to woodland gardens, borders and foundation plantings. The bold foliage holds its color well through the season, making it an excellent choice for adding visual impact where sun-loving plants won’t thrive. Growing 18-24 inches tall, August Moon Hosta forms a full, mounded habit that works beautifully as a specimen plant or in mass plantings. In midsummer, tall stems rise above the foliage producing soft lavender flowers that attract pollinators and add a delicate finishing touch. Easy to grow and low maintenance, this hosta prefers partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soil.
