Its innovative modular design allows quick barrel changes and reconfiguration into carbine, assault rifle, or light support weapon roles. The AUG A3 M1 variant introduced a Picatinny rail system for modern optics and accessories, bringing the classic platform up to contemporary operational standards. The AUG has been adopted by the armed forces of Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Luxembourg, and many others, and has seen combat in numerous conflicts worldwide. 3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding. Final appearance may vary slightly depending on printer settings and material used.
