Audison AVX 6.5 II VOCE Series 6.5" Coaxial Speakers

Audison AVX 6.5 II VOCE Series 6.5" Coaxial Speakers The Audison VOCE II AVX 6.5 coaxial speaker is a standout component in the VOCE II line, offering a unique combination of a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch Hi-Res certified dome tweeter. Achieving Hi-Res Audio certification for a coaxial setup is particularly significant, reflecting the meticulous design of every element from the grille to the basket. Designed for bi-amplification, this speaker can be actively optimized with a DSP while maintaining the flexibility of separate passive crossovers for each driver. It also includes versatile OEM-style connectors, enhancing integration and performance in any vehicle setup. Give Sound Its True Voice Audison Voce II, the second generation of our iconic VOCE speakers, challenged us—to rethink how we design, test, and manufacture speakers. We’ve revamped materials, supply chains, assembly techniques, and packaging. Our goal was to “unlearn” to innovate and to “reinforce our expertise” where we knew we were on the right track. This dedication ensures that every aspect of VOCE II not only meets but exceeds the sophisticated demands of today’s car audio enthusiasts. Hi-Res Certified Innovation The coaxial speaker is, in our view, the most captivating component of the entire VOCE II line. Building upon all the advanced features of the AV 6.5 P II woofer, it incorporates a 1” (25 mm) Hi-Res certified dome tweeter! While achieving Hi-Res certification for standalone tweeters was challenging, doing so for a coaxial speaker was a monumental feat, as every surrounding element—grille, woofer coil, cone profile, and even the basket design—plays a crucial role. To fully exploit its potential, we designed the coaxial to support bi-amplification, allowing it to be actively filtered and optimized for in-cabin acoustics using a DSP. At the same time, it comes equipped with separate passive crossovers for the woofer and tweeter, offering flexibility for various system configurations. The package also includes OEM-style connectors for both the woofer and tweeter, enabling seamless integration for active setups and maximizing performance in any vehicle. Seamless Integration of Woofer and Tweeter The design of the AVX 6.5 II focused on enhancing the synergy between the woofer and tweeter. The woofer cone not only reproduces mid-bass frequencies accurately but also serves as a waveguide for the tweeter, boosting overall performance. This integration allows the tweeter to benefit from the acoustic loading provided by the cone, improving both low-frequency response and the precision and clarity of mid-high frequencies. Enhanced Sound Dispersion for an immersive in-car sound stage A crucial aspect of the AVX 6.5 II design was sound dispersion, particularly important for a coaxial speaker typically installed in car doors. The woofer and tweeter work together to deliver optimal dispersion, ensuring sound is well distributed throughout the cabin, regardless of the listeners’ seating positions. This characteristic guarantees full immersion in the sound experience, without compromise. Oversized motor and massive voice-coil for exceptional dynamic A standout feature of the AVX 6.5 II is its powerful magnetic assembly. The woofer is equipped with a 1.5” (38 mm) voice coil and the tweeter has a 1” (25 mm) coil. This configuration allows both drivers to work in perfect synergy, with the woofer’s motor actively supporting the tweeter’s performance. Thanks to this powerful interaction, the coaxial system delivers precise, dynamic, and distortion-free sound. The AVX 6.5 II sets a new performance standard for coaxial speakers in the car audio world. Independent crossovers The AVX 6.5 II sets a new benchmark in coaxial speaker design by incorporating dedicated crossover technology and offering the flexibility of active filtering options. AVX 6.5 II includes two independent crossovers: one for the woofer and one for the tweeter. This innovative approach allows precise control over the frequency range of each driver, ensuring seamless integration for superior performance. Active Filtering Flexibility The Audison Voce AVX 6.5 II delivers exceptional sound quality thanks to the possibility of filtering the woofer and tweeter in active mode. This approach enhances voice clarity, minimizing distortion and ensuring clean, natural vocal reproduction. It also allows for customizable sound profiles, enabling fine-tuning to adapt seamlessly to different vehicle acoustics and user preferences. Additionally, optimized filtering improves efficiency and durability, ensuring each driver operates within its optimal range, enhancing overall system performance and longevity Sophisticated Mesh Grille for impressive Aesthetics and Protection The tweeter’s refined mesh grille not only protects the driver but also adds a high-end aesthetic touch. This coaxial stands out not only for its technical performance but also for its meticulously designed appearance. Features Hi-Res Audio Certified, Extending Up to 40 kHz: Delivers detailed high-frequency reproduction with improved off-axis response, ensuring exceptional performance even when the tweeter is not directly aligned with the listener, ideal for in-car installations. Concentric coaxial tweeter: Integrated within the woofer coil to create a single point of sound emission, providing an immersive soundstage that mirrors the experience of a live performance. Cone optimized through FEM simulations: Jointly designed between woofer and tweeter to improve frequency response and sound dispersion, ensuring uniform and precise sound coverage, ideal for car installations. Dual Crossover Design with Active Filtering: The AVX 6.5 II features independent AVCX 2 XT and AVCX 2 XW crossovers for the woofer and tweeter, offering precise frequency control for unmatched clarity. With active filtering compatibility, it delivers professional-grade customization and seamless integration into high-end audio systems. 1” (25 mm) Tetolon soft dome with integrated mesh grille: Designed with advanced technologies, it offers warm and natural sound reproduction, ensuring smooth and extended response across all frequencies. 1.6” (40 mm) Woofer voice coil in CCAW: Maximizes heat dissipation and excursion capability, allowing the woofer to achieve 100W RMS power for powerful and deep bass. Low Inductance Design: Optimizes upper midrange (2-3 kHz) reproduction, improving the clarity of vocals and instruments, thanks to an aluminum shorting ring built-in the motor. Oversized Magnetic Assembly: Provides exceptional thermal stability, ensuring optimal dynamic reserve in any listening condition. FEM optimized Magnetic Circuit Geometry: Maximizes efficiency by concentrating the magnetic field on the coil for more precise, dynamic sound. Semi-pressed Pulp Cone with Cotton Fibers: Combines rigidity and lightness for a wide frequency response and clean reproduction, even in midrange frequencies. Die-Cast Aluminum Basket with magnet cover: Enhances heat dissipation and reduces turbulent airflows, ensuring maximum rigidity and high performance over time, even during prolonged use. High Excursion Butyl Rubber Surround and Optimized Spider: Uses advanced simulations to ensure greater linearity and cone control, reducing distortion during intense excursions. Installation Flexibility: Equipped with OEM-style and Faston connectors, offering maximum installation versatility. Includes two provided adhesive Audison logos, allowing for personalized placement to enhance branding and aesthetics. Optional Black or Silver Mesh Metal Grille: Provides robust protection without compromising acoustic performance, adding a touch of elegance to the installation for perfect cabin integration. eID Technology: Ensures product traceability from production to the final owner, guaranteeing authenticity and security.
