Designed for high-performance, the 707 features 12 outlets with isolated zones, Transient Power Correction for current-starved components, and what AQ refers to as "non-sacrificial" surge protection to safeguard your gear without compromising presentation. Folks on the street consistently report enhanced clarity, tighter bass, richer details, and improved image quality across their gear. "Yeah, right... suuuuure..." Yep. We get the skepticism. "Over a grand for a power unit that makes big promises to change my life?" Curious, we picked up an EMI line noise analyzer to see how much noise is actually in our office and to see if the 707 is measurably getting rid of it. We were actually pretty shocked to see it go from a fairly noisy 190 millivolts peak-to-peak down to about 9! "Ok, Ok. But does it change the sound?" We've tried a ton of AudioQuest, iFi and other cables and power gear, and most of them enhanced our experience to some degree (albeit, some marginally.) The PowerQuest 707 offered the most substantial boost in recent A/B testing, surprising us with how much quieter "quiet" can actually be along with details we never heard before. If you've got the budget, give AudioQuest a chance to satisfy your hunger for more with the PowerQuest 707. PowerQuest 707 AudioQuest PowerQuest 707 is a high-performance power conditioner with 12 AC outlets (4 Upgraded High-Current outlets for amplifiers and 8 Ultra-Linear-Filtered outlets for source components), Transient Power Correction circuitry, a 2m detachable AC power cable featuring ZERO-Tech and RF/ND-Tech, and 2RU rack ears for simple rack-mounting. Engineered with advanced power filtration, the PowerQuest 707 removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners, helping your system perform at its best. Powerful Surge Defense With non-sacrificial surge protection, the PQ-707 goes beyond traditional surge protectors. It safeguards against high voltage and current, preventing damage to your equipment and ensuring the device’s long-term reliability. The Extreme Voltage Shutdown feature activates the main power circuit relay in less than 0.25 seconds at 140VAC and automatically resets once power returns to a safe level. Built to Withstand Built to endure rigorous 6000V/3000A input surge tests, the PQ-707 can withstand multiple surges at the highest level that a building’s AC panel can survive, offering reliable protection without components wearing out over time. Purpose-Built Outlets Each of the PowerQuest 707’s outlets is specifically engineered for optimal performance in your home entertainment system. It includes: 4 High-Current Outlets: Designed for soundbars, power amplifiers, audio/video receivers, or subwoofers. 8 Linear Filtered Outlets: Ideal for audio/video source components, computers, modems, or routers. Key Features Level 2 Linear Noise-Dissipation Combines Differential and Common Mode filtering to reduce both asymmetrical and symmetrical AC line noise—whether introduced by devices or picked up from the environment. Transient Power Correction Delivers a 45-amp current reservoir to support power-hungry amplifiers, ensuring punchy dynamics and real-world impact. Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection Handles surges up to 6000V/3000A without degrading—no reset or replacement needed. Set it and forget it. Extreme Voltage Shutdown Automatically cuts power in under 0.25 seconds if voltage exceeds 140VAC, restoring only when safe levels return. Flat-to-Wall 45 Degree Plug Slim, angled plug fits snugly behind furniture and tight spaces without stress on the cord. Detachable Power Cable Included Includes 2m PQ-715 cable with high-purity Copper, direction-controlled conductors, ZERO-Tech, and RF/ND-Tech for reduced distortion, better current flow, and superior noise dissipation.
