AudioQuest PowerQuest 505 | 12 Outlet Power Conditioner

Upgrade Your Audio and Video Entertainment Experience to the Next-Level With the High-Performance Power Conditioner, PowerQuest 505 Power Conditioner + Non-Sacrificial Surge Protector 12 total: (4x) High-Current / (8x) Source Linear Noise-Dissipation ensures consistent noise reduction Extreme voltage shutdown within less than 0.25 seconds, auto-resets once power returns to safe range Rack-mountable design for convenient and seamless fit PowerQuest 505 AudioQuest PowerQuest 505 is a high-performance power conditioner with 12 AC outlets (4 High-Current outlets for amplifiers and 8 Linear-Filtered outlets for source components), a 2m detachable AC power cable featuring ZERO-Tech and RF/ND-Tech, and 2RU rack ears for simple rack-mounting. Engineered with advanced power filtration, the PowerQuest 505 removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners, helping your system perform at its best. Detachable Power Cable The detachable PQ-715 cable uses AudioQuest’s high-purity Semi-Solid Long-Grain Copper conductor metal in which strands are packed more tightly and never change position within the bundle, significantly reducing strand-interaction distortion. Long-Grain Copper further minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries that exist within any metal conductor. A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly — away from the system’s vulnerable circuitry. AudioQuest’s ZERO-Tech ensures uncompressed current transfer and linearized noise-dissipation; RF/ND-Tech minimizes circuit misbehavior by canceling induced RF noise. Powerful Surge Defense With non-sacrificial surge protection, the PQ-505 goes beyond traditional surge protectors. It safeguards against high voltage and current, preventing damage to your equipment and ensuring the device’s long-term reliability. The Extreme Voltage Shutdown feature activates the main power circuit relay in less than 0.25 seconds at 140VAC and automatically resets once power returns to a safe level. Built to Withstand Built to endure rigorous 6000V/3000A input surge tests, the PQ-505 can withstand multiple surges at the highest level that a building’s AC panel can survive, offering reliable protection without components wearing out over time. Purpose-Built Outlets Each of the PowerQuest 505’s outlets is specifically engineered for optimal performance in your home entertainment system. It includes: 4 High-Current Outlets: Designed for soundbars, power amplifiers, audio/video receivers, or subwoofers. 8 Linear Filtered Outlets: Ideal for audio/video source components, computers, modems, or routers. Key Features Level 2 Linear Noise-Dissipation Compromises Differential-Mode filtering, which addresses asymmetrical noise already present on the utility line or backwashed via electronic appliances and components. In addition, Common-Mode filtering to address symmetrical noise, which is picked up by the AC line, Neutral, and Ground leads. Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection Accepts multiple transient power surges and spikes up to 6000V or 3000A (the maximum that can make it through a home or office electrical panel). Damage from electrical storms or power-line interruptions are virtually impossible. Set it and forget it. Extreme Voltage Shutdown At 140VAC, the main power relay opens in <0.25 seconds, resetting when power stabilizes, ensuring protection against voltage spikes for your devices. Flat-to-Wall 45 Degree Plug Flat-to-Wall 45 degree plug can be easily installed in tight spaces behind furniture or other hard-to-reach areas.
