That's the same fully-analog and discrete mic preamp circuit design found in Audient's renowned ASP8024-HE recording console. No emulations, no copies – just real analog console mic preamps on your desktop. Next-level audio performance: advanced 32-bit converter technology With 32-bit ESS DAC converter technology to minimize quality loss and maximize performance during conversion, iD48 makes sure your audio sounds cleaner, clearer and more precise than ever. And with 126.5dB of dynamic range, you will hear subtle details better and identify problematic issues faster, making getting release ready results easy. Expand your studio: add more channels with digital I/O Make short work of the most demanding sessions and future-proof your studio with iD48's optical input and output connections. Supporting both ADAT and SPDIF, iD48 lets you boost your I/O by adding up to 16 channels of external mic preamps to your setup. Built for outboard integration: 8 × switchable analog inserts Utilizing D-sub connections, iD48 provides eight fully-balanced inserts, letting you integrate your favorite outboard effects prior to conversion and giving you the cleanest signal path possible – perfect for stem mixing and print-backs. iD48's switchable insert routing enables you to select which source is feeding the ADC path, letting you choose whether to send the Audient mic preamp or DAW outputs to your outboard gear on a per-channel basis and all without having to plug or unplug cables. Plus, for users wanting to record external analog mic preamps, iD48's returns let you bypass the Audient mic preamp, giving you a super-clean and direct conversion path for recording. Make monitoring simple: advanced monitoring control iD48 not only excels as a powerful USB-C audio interface, but also provides everything you need to get studio-ready monitoring control. Speaker outputs let you connect, listen to and reference your mixes through Main and Alt speaker outputs. Alternatively, use the extra line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amp for distribution to your artists. Confidently mix on headphones with two engineer-grade, fully independent stereo headphone amps, providing 124dB dynamic range and enough power to support headphones up to 600Ohms. Configurable function buttons let you assign any of iD48's powerful monitoring capabilities, such as Speaker Select, Dim or Mono Sum to the two dedicated hardware function buttons. Talkback Take advantage of iD48's innovative talkback technology, letting you use a USB microphone or your computer's built-in mic as a dedicated talkback mic, freeing up valuable mic preamps for recording. Ultra-low latency control software: iD software mixer Optimized for speed, the iD mixer is your productivity's best friend. Quickly set up ultra-low latency direct monitoring, create up to four stereo cue mixes, save layout presets and quickly setup advanced routing – all from one easy-to-use app. Plug and play: JFET instrument inputs Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, iD48's two harmonically-rich JFET instrument inputs give you the perfect sonic foundation for your guitars or basses before you hit your amp sims.
