Audi RS6 (Front) Performance 2-Piece Rotor and Brake Pad Package

Paragon 2-Piece Front Rotors + Winmax Pads for Audi RS6 When a spirited back-road drive turns into a track day, factory rotors and pads reach their limit together — this package upgrades both in one order. This package pairs Paragon's 2-piece floating front rotors with a Winmax compound matched to how you actually drive the car. Built for Audi RS6 owners who want factory-level refinement with real track capability in reserve, whether that's a weekend canyon run or a dedicated lapping day. Choose your rotor hat finish, then pick the pad compound that matches how hard you're actually driving it. Already have pads you're happy with? Select "No Pads" and just get the rotors. Rotor Hat Finish: Black Hard Anodized or MilSpec Hard Anodized Pad Compound: No Pads, P2 Street, P3 Sport, R5 Med Temp Track, or R7 Hi Temp Track CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron rotor rings, heat-treated and CBN-machined, with runout held within 0.03mm and balance within 2 grams 2-piece floating rotor design reduces unsprung weight and resists warping under repeated heavy braking Bundle pricing saves you a second shipping charge vs. ordering rotors and pads separately Frequently Asked Questions What's included in this Audi RS6 front package? You get a matched pair of Paragon 2-piece front rotors (left and right) with your choice of hat finish, plus a matched set of front brake pads in the compound you select at checkout, or choose "No Pads" if you already have pads you're happy with and just want the rotors. Ordering rotors and pads together in one package also saves a second shipping charge versus ordering them separately. What are the Audi RS6 2-piece rotors made of, and how are they different from OE? The rotor ring is CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron, heat-treated to release casting stress and CBN-machined for a finish that breaks in cleanly with new pads. Lateral runout is held within 0.03mm and rotor weight is balanced within 2 grams, which keeps vibration out of the pedal. The 2-piece floating design lets the rotor ring expand with heat independently of the hat, which resists the warping and cracking that stock one-piece rotors are prone to under sustained hard use. Slotting keeps the pad/rotor interface clean of gas and debris and sheds water films better than a blank rotor in the wet. Will this fit my Audi RS6 without modification, and does it work with the factory ABS and calipers? Yes: it's a direct bolt-on for the applications listed, designed to work with the factory ABS and brake system while maintaining factory brake bias, no modifications required. The rotors are also compatible with OEM pads or aftermarket pads sharing the same pad depth if you decide to change compounds down the road. Which pad compound should I choose for my Audi RS6? This Audi RS6 package offers 4 compound options at checkout, each suited to a different level of use: P2 (Street/Comfort): a non-metallic, street-focused compound with low dust and noise, a broad effective range up to 932°F, and a friction coefficient of roughly 0.29–0.32. It's the right call for a daily-driven car where comfort and pad life matter as much as bite. P3 (Sport): an all-around semi-metallic compound for spirited street driving, autocross, and occasional track days, effective to 1112°F with a friction coefficient near 0.34–0.37. It's the sweet spot for a car that sees both commute duty and the occasional lapping day. R5 (Med Temp Track): a dedicated metallic track compound effective from 212°F to 1382°F with a friction coefficient of 0.40–0.43, delivering a flatter, more predictable torque curve than R7. Expect more dust and noise than a street pad in exchange for real track bite. R7 (Hi Temp Track): a maximum-friction, full-race metallic compound effective from 212°F to 1562°F with a friction coefficient of 0.48–0.53. It's built for advanced HPDE, competition, and heavier cars that need the highest sustained stopping power (not intended for street use). As a rule of thumb: go street-only with P2, split the difference with P3, and step up to R5 or R7 only if you're running repeated track or competition sessions, since race compounds give up daily-driving manners for outright bite. Which hat finish should I pick? Both options use the same CNC-machined 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum hat and perform and hold up identically; Black Hard Coat and MilSpec Type III Hard Anodized are cosmetically different finishes, not different levels of durability. Pick whichever look you prefer. Do new rotors and pads need to be bedded in on my Audi RS6? Yes, as with any new rotor and pad set. A proper bedding cycle (a series of moderate stops from speed without coming to a complete halt, followed by a cool-down period without riding the brakes) transfers an even layer of pad material onto the rotor face and helps prevent uneven deposits, judder, or noise later on. Always follow the specific bedding procedure included with your chosen pad compound. Do I need to order the rear kit too, or does front-only make sense? Plenty of owners run front-only, especially if the rear brakes are newer or seeing less heat. That said, rotors and pads wear as a system, and if you're planning track days, matching both ends to a similar compound keeps braking balance more predictable as everything heats up together. If a matching Rear package is available for the Audi RS6, it's worth checking out alongside this one. Will this still feel refined for daily driving, or is it track-only? It depends entirely on the pad compound you choose. P2 keeps the factory-like quiet, low-dust feel for daily driving. P3 adds bite and track capability while staying street-friendly for occasional track days. R5 and R7 are dedicated track compounds, noisier and dustier, and best reserved for lapping days rather than daily use. The rotor itself doesn't change how the car drives day to day; the pad choice does.
