30 Day Money-Back Guarantee | IN STOCK HIGHLIGHTS • Gain up to +20whp / 30wtq • Improved Exhaust Note • Faster Turbo Spool • Stainless Steel • Fits CBFA and CCTA   PROFILE ARM Motorsports 8P A3 Catted Downpipe boosts power up to +20whp and +30wtq. It also improves turbo spool on your 2.0T, allowing your A3 to hit boost sooner at lower rpm.   WHY WOULD YOU WANT A CATTED DOWNPIPE? Great question! There are multiple reasons why you would want a catted downpipe for your A3 versus a catless downpipe system.  PASSING EMISSIONS: One of the biggest benefits of a catted downpipe is that it increases your chances of passing emissions.* The catalytic converter in the ARM A3 catted downpipe is significantly less restrictive than the OEM catalytic converter, allowing it to increase the power of your 2.0T while still going to work on burning up those exhaust gases that don't get along with the environment and the EPA. NO FOUL SMELLS: Well, at least from your exhaust. The catted downpipe destroys most of the elements in the exhaust gas commonly associated with catless downpipes which produce strong exhaust fumes. If you've owned a vehicle with a catless exhaust you likely know the odor associated with a catless downpipe. The ARM A3 catted downpipe eliminates the smell of many exhaust fumes above that which you would experience from the OEM downpipe. EXHAUST SOUND: Many enthusiasts prefer the sound of a catted downpipe over the standard catless downpipe. Having the catalytic converter in the downpipe of your A3 reduces some of the high-pitch rasp commonly associated with catless systems. It almost acts similar to a resonator in the way it effects the acoustics of the exhaust note. CONSTRUCTION The ARM 8P A3 catted downpipe features a full 3" stainless steel construction with smooth bends for improved exhaust flow. The upper section of the downpipe has a CNC-machined flange that mates up to the turbo and includes a flex joint to relieve stress and make installation easier. The downpipe to catback section is where the 200 cell sport catalytic converter is placed. The ARM catted downpipe kit is designed to fit both CBFA and CCTA applications, so you can make sure that no matter which version of the 2.0T you have the ARM downpipe will accommodate your A3.  BOLTS UP TO STOCK OR AFTERMARKET CATBACK EXHAUST The ARM 8P A3 catted downpipe will fit the existing OEM catback exhaust or any aftermarket exhaust that connects the OEM downpipe. The ARM downpipe kit includes a 3" to 2.25" reducer to allow it to mate up perfectly to the stock exhaust system. Or opt to connect to a 3" aftermarket exhaust system for a full 3" turbo-back setup.  IN THE BOX • ARM Catted Downpipe • Stock Cat-Back Adapter • Mounting Bracket • Hardware & Gasket Kit    FITMENT GUIDE WILL FIT K04 TURBO UPGRADE Make Model Submodel Engine Audi 8P A3 FWD 2.0T Volkswagen CC FWD 2.0T Volkswagen Golf V All 2.0T Volkswagen Golf VI FWD 2.0T Volkswagen Jetta V All 2.0T Volkswagen Jetta VI Sedan 2.0T Gen 1 Volkswagen Passat B6 FWD 2.0T  *NOTE: Installing a catted downpipe does not guarantee that your car will pass emissions. There are many variables associated with the emissions of a vehicle including but not limited to other performance modifications, condition of the car, maintenance history, emissions testing procedure, etc. For more information, please email us at getarmed@armmotorsports.com ARM MOTORSPORTS LIFETIME WARRANTY Every ARM Motorsports product is backed by a lifetime warranty which is automatically issued at the time of purchase.
