Made in France by the Au Ver a Soie company, whose quality has remained steadfast since 1820.  Use for embroidery, counted thread, canvas work, fine sewing, machine and long-arm quilting Thread thickness is slightly finer than a single ply of Soie d’Alger. Glides nicely through linen. Most linen stitchers prefer to use this on 37, 38, 45 and 53/63 count linens Top and bottom of spool lift for securing thread in place. 4 plies of Soie 100/3 will cover 18 count canvas in tent stitch. Try it for a different looking texture! Soie 1003 provides sharp, crisp delineation of your stitches for canvas and linen applications.
