These small plates and bowls are sold in sets of two, the two plates are 4 inches in diameter and the two bowls are 2.5 inches and 3 inches. Made by hand from lovely, warm, unglazed clay in Oaxaca and pit fired, which results in unique markings where some of the clay is scorched. These markings are not considered defects. Food safe, FDA inspected Because these items are unglazed they will absorb liquid and are easily stained by oil and other substances. Leaving liquid in the cup for long periods will result in liquid leaking through its porous walls. Please do not purchase if you prefer glazed ceramics. Not recommended for dishwasher or microwave.
