HVAC Temperature Switch 85115771 – Alltrux ATX938-1027

The Alltrux ATX938-1027 Temperature Switch replaces OEM 85115771 and is designed as a service replacement for heavy-duty truck HVAC climate control systems. This 2-pin temperature switch (thermistor-style) helps regulate air conditioning system operation by monitoring evaporator or air temperature and controlling compressor cycling, supporting consistent cabin cooling and reliable system performance in fleet and vocational environments. Temperature switches play a critical role in preventing evaporator freeze-up and maintaining proper HVAC system cycling. As original switches wear, drift out of calibration, or fail electrically, inconsistent cooling, compressor overrun, or intermittent HVAC operation can occur. Replacing worn temperature switches helps restore proper temperature sensing, improve climate control performance, and reduce unplanned service events.
