Atomic Backland Summit 5 Touring Binding

As Atomic continues to perfect their bindings, ease of use and reliability are top-notch and the new Atomic Backland Summit 5 is testament to this evolution. Designed for lighter skiers, the Backland Summit 5 is a lightweight, fully featured backcountry touring binding that prizes performance, accessibility and durability. The all new AutoFlex system in the heel of the Backland Summit 5 provides 5mm of elasticity within the binding to support the natural ski flex while also enhancing the safety of the binding. High performance PA, a glass-infused polymide with an exceptional strength to weight ratio, and fiberglass keeps the binding lightweight for maximum efficiency on the uphill. Atomic's patented Step-in Aid on the toe piece of the binding ensure trouble free alignment and contact on the deepest of powder days. At 405g, the Atomic Summit 5 is perfect for lightweight skiers looking to get into ski touring with a strong and stable binding. A wide contact area across the ski creates a powerful downhill performance on any line of your choice.
