Atlasaurus Bone Polished Fossil Slab - Authentic Specimen with Stand - Medium 4-6 in

Atlasaurus is a Jurassic sauropod dinosaur from Morocco - one of the long-necked herbivores that dominated the ancient landscapes of what is now North Africa. This authentic Atlasaurus bone fossil slab in the medium size measures 4 in to 6 in and presents a polished cross-section of real Atlasaurus bone that reveals the internal trabecular structure of a Jurassic giant. Includes an acrylic display stand. The Architecture of a Jurassic Giant at Full Display Scale The medium slab is the more commanding of the two Atlasaurus sizes - at 4 to 6 inches it has the presence to anchor a shelf, desk, or display case as a centerpiece rather than an accent piece. The polished face reveals the internal bone architecture: the honeycomb trabecular tissue that gave sauropods the structural integrity to support their enormous mass. Colors, texture, and pattern vary with each specimen - each slab is approximately 0.5 in thick and completely unique. The Authentic Atlasaurus Bone Fossil Slab for Serious Collectors This is not a reproduction. This is a real Atlasaurus fossil bone, polished and mounted for display at a scale that does justice to the animal it came from. Each specimen includes a Mini Museum certificate of authenticity and informational display card. Explore more in our Prehistoric Collection and our Natural History Collection.
