Atlas, Plastic Egress Kit

The Atlas Plastic Egress Window Well Kit brings together the essential components needed to create a safe, functional, and attractive basement egress system. At the center of the kit is the Atlas Plastic Egress Well, a heavy-duty, one-piece window well constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Unlike traditional metal window wells, the Atlas won’t rust, corrode, or dent. Its molded natural-stone texture provides the look and feel of stone while offering the durability and low maintenance of a modern plastic window well. Built-in steps provide a convenient emergency escape route without requiring a separate ladder, while the generous well opening allows natural light and ventilation into below-grade living spaces. The dual-wall, one-piece construction provides excellent backfill strength and eliminates the need to assemble multiple window well sections. Each kit also includes an egress-compliant basement window, with multiple sizes available so you can select the window that best fits your project. Completing the system is a matching polycarbonate egress window well cover, designed to support 500lbs and help protect the well while maintaining emergency egress functionality. Together, these components create a coordinated egress system that combines safety, durability, natural light, and an upscale stone appearance — without the cost and weight of a traditional stone window well. Whether you’re finishing a basement, adding a bedroom, or replacing an existing egress system, the Atlas Plastic Egress Window Well Kit provides an easy way to purchase the major components for your project in one convenient package.
