Athlon Optics Midas EDC Pro Red Dot Sight

Every time you pull a pistol dot to change the battery, you risk losing your zero. The Athlon Midas EDC Pro eliminates that problem with a top-loading CR1632 battery that swaps without removing the optic from the slide. Pop the cap, drop in a fresh cell, and your zero stays exactly where you left it. At 0.74 oz and 1.6 inches, the EDC Pro is the smallest and lightest optic in Athlon's Midas red dot lineup — barely there on a carry gun. The 3 MOA dot projects through a fully multi-coated 20.5x16mm window with ten brightness settings and motion-sensor sleep/wake that conserves the CR1632's 20,000 hours of battery life. The RMSc (Shield/Docter-style) footprint fits the widest range of factory-milled micro-optic cuts on compact and subcompact pistols — the mount pattern most carry guns ship with. Athlon built the EDC Pro on a one-piece, aircraft-grade aluminum chassis that's nitrogen purged, waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof. Windage and elevation turrets adjust at 1 MOA per click. The controls sit on the side of the housing, keeping the top profile clean for the battery cap. Subcompact and micro-compact pistols with factory RMSc/Shield-pattern optic cuts — the footprint fits guns like the Sig P365, Springfield Hellcat, S&W Shield Plus, and other popular carry platforms without adapter plates. Shooters who prioritize zero retention — if you've lost a zero changing batteries on a bottom-load dot, the top-loading design solves that permanently. Compatibility RMSc (Shield/Docter-style) footprint mounts directly to slides milled for Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, or compatible patterns. Center height of 0.58" provides a low, snag-free profile ideal for concealed carry. Also compatible with adapter plates for other slide patterns.
