Newest to our Signature Line, Athena’s Backgammon is a celebration of Greek culture, history, and design. Backgammon, or tavli (τάβλι) as it’s called, has been a staple in cafes and homes throughout Greece for many years. Even in the 5th century, the emperor Xeno famously lost a game to an unlucky dice roll. This backgammon set bleeds blue ⎼ from its Classic Blue exterior onto the canvas playing fields, all the way to the pearl dice and checkers. The playing fields feature a modern take on the ancient Greek columns, along with the Owl of Athena in the corners to guide you to victory.
