ASX-1 Explosion Proof Pneumatic Switch

The ASX-1 is a pneumatic (air) switch in an explosion-proof steel enclosure rated NEMA 7 and 9. It surface mounts. An air pulse from a pneumatic reversing edge or treadle hose closes a normally open contact. It is a 2-wire device. The enclosure measures 5-3/4 in H x 4-1/2 in W x 4-1/2 in D. NEMA 7 covers enclosures for locations with flammable gas or vapor, and NEMA 9 covers combustible dust. Use it where a pneumatic edge or air hose signal must be converted to a contact input for a door or gate operator in a hazardous area.
