ASTRO® SIT

Ultra-comfortable sit harness for rope access The ASTRO SIT sit harness is specifically designed for workers at height and rope access technicians looking for a lightweight and modular solution. It can be made into a full-body fall-arrest harness by connecting a TOP CROLL chest harness, for ascending a rope. The 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loop construction provide comfort throughout the workday. The textile bridge construction provides ease of movement and comfort when walking. The gated ventral attachment point allows the user to efficiently install the necessary equipment for progression. The waistbelt features metal side attachment points, equipment loops, and tool holder slots, allowing the user to organize and carry all the necessary equipment for a day of work. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and FAST opening buckles make donning and adjusting the harness simple and convenient, even while wearing gloves. Description Ultra-comfortable construction: - All contact zones, including the waistbelt and leg loops, use 3D foam padding and are lined with breathable material, providing more comfort while suspended and throughout the workday - Textile bridge provides ease of movement at the workstation, as well as improved comfort when walking - Semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal harness fit and support - Metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent them snagging accidentally when not in use - Elastic leg loop bands (available individually) allow the harness to maintain the right adjustment whether the user is walking or suspended Efficiently integrate equipment with gated ventral point: - Connect the PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyard directly to the pin of the attachment point without a connector - The TOP CROLL chest harness connects directly to the ventral point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement on rope ascents - Connect a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat to the pin of the attachment point so the load is supported directly by the descender, while providing mobility at the ventral attachment point Convenient adjustment system: - Waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and anti-slip devices can be inserted (included, but not installed) - DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles are made of anodized aluminum and remain easy to adjust throughout the lifespan of the harness - Leg loops are equipped with FAST opening buckles that fasten and unfasten quickly and easily, even while wearing gloves, without needing to readjust Easy to carry and organize equipment: - Waistbelt is equipped with two foldable, side metal attachment points for connecting a positioning lanyard in double mode - Seven pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath, two slots for CARITOOL tool holders and INTERFAST connection system, and two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches Specifications Ventral attachment point: Attachment for a descender, a progression or positioning lanyard in single mode, or a work seat Lateral attachment points: Attachment for a positioning lanyard for use in double mode Sternal attachment point: Attachment for a fall-arrest system Dorsal attachment point: Attachment for a fall-arrest system Rear attachment point on the waistbelt: Attachment for a restraint lanyard Certification(s): CE EN 813, EN 358 Material(s): Nylon, polyester, aluminum, steel References References C085AB00 C085AB01 C085AB02 Color(s) Black, Yellow Black, Yellow Black, Yellow Size 0 1 2 Waist belt 65-80 cm 70-93 cm 83-120 cm Leg loops 44-59 cm 47-62 cm 50-65 cm Weight 1195 g 1220 g 1315 g Guarantee 3 years 3 years 3 years Inner Pack Count 1 1 1 Price $449.95 $449.95 $449.95 Technical notice Download the PDF : technical-notice-ASTRO-SIT-1 - 3.71 MB Declaration Of Conformity Download the PDF : UE-Declaration-ASTRO SIT-C085AB0X - 0.64 MB Tips for maintaining your equipment Download the PDF - 3.05 MB PPE inspection procedure  Download the PDF - 3.37 MB PPE checklist Download the PDF - 0.24 MB
