Astral Indus PFD

You don’t need to be amidst the maelstrom of Rondu Gorge to appreciate the freestyle fit and added buoyancy of Astral’s Indus PFD. The Indus combines Astral's FoamTechtonics™ design with 22.3 lbs of flotation to create a jacket bigger–and big water—paddlers will love. The world’s first freestyle-inspired high float life jacket. Features 22.3 lbs of floatation, which is 33% more flotation than the GreenJacket™. FoamTectonics allows the outer front panel to move freely with your upper body as the inner panel stays anchored in place. 500 denier Cordura® nylon with PVC-Free Gaia™ and PE foam flotation make the Indus a tough, environmentally-friendly life jacket. Rope-ready storage behind front panel and side pockets for web tow storage. Chest pocket features YKK® self-locking vision teeth zipper for low-profile, easy access storage. A quick-release rescue harness is tack-stitched into the vest for ultimate strength and integrity. Pull-over entry with side adjustment points to ensure a custom fit. Features round out with a lash tab for attaching a rescue knife and a Spectra® safety loop for emergency extractions. This jacket carries the US Coast Guard Type V Certification through testing by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
