Astral - Indus PFD

The Astral Indus™ Rescue PFD introduces a new generation of high-float life jackets designed for paddlers who demand maximum buoyancy, mobility, and rescue capability. Inspired by freestyle PFD design, the Indus combines a secure pullover entry, premium materials, and advanced fit systems to deliver exceptional performance for serious whitewater and rescue scenarios. With **22 pounds of buoyancy—33% more than the GreenJacket™—**the Indus is built for paddlers who want extra flotation when running big water, guiding, or performing swiftwater rescue. Astral’s Foam Tectonics™ design allows the vest to move naturally with your torso while staying securely positioned, giving you full range of motion when paddling, swimming, or setting up a rescue. Constructed from durable 500D Cordura® nylon with PVC-free Gaia® foam, the Indus is built for longevity in demanding river environments. Multiple storage pockets, quick-access knife storage, and integrated rope and Web-Toe™ storage keep essential rescue tools close at hand when seconds matter. Swiftwater rescue training required.
