The sweet dark green foliage stays healthy and luxurious throughout the season on this very hardy plant. Asters are pretty hardy plants that can heat and humidity very well. Aster woods are more effective when planted in groupings together. These Asters are great plants for attracting pollinators to any garden. Ideal care for these spunky blooming yard plants includes full sun to partial shade and a rich well-draining soil mix. As a very low-maintenance plant, we just recommend you prune your plant in early spring. The purple perennial should then remain active throughout the season. This unique Aster Wood variety is outstanding for front borders, as edging, or in containers. A native wildflower that is equally at home in gardens and woodlands. Very showy flowers and fast growing.
