Aster Raydon's Favorite

Aster Raydon's Favorite or Aster oblongifolius 'Raydon's Favorite' is a fall perennial that blooms stunning blue-lavender flowers in early to late fall. The aromatic aster attracts pollinators and butterflies, making it a gorgeous addition to your garden or landscape. Long after most flowers are gone and even fall, Mums are starting to fade; these bright beauties glow in the garden. Aster Raydon's Favorite Plants have lavender-blue petals surrounding yellow flowers. They are native to the prairies in the United States, and when in full bloom, they cover the landscape in a blanket of blue flowers for two months. Aster Raydon's Favorite Plants start to bloom sporadically in the Late Summer and then transition to a blanket of lavender flowers in the fall. These stunning pollinators look beautiful in traditional gardens and perennial borders. This cultivar is low maintenance, deer resistant, and robust, allowing it to do well even in direct sunlight and drought-like conditions.
