Assos habuJacketLaalalai Jacket

The Assos habuJacketLaalalai for women is a cold weather top that doesn’t allow you to overheat or slow down. Wind can cut like glass, but the secret sauce to winter comfort is balancing protection from the elements with letting the sweat vapor find an exhaust vent. Assos works their design magic into a jacket that fits like a high-performing jersey while doing the duty of an arctic barrier. Essential to this battle is the StratagonLight fabric used on the front panels and collar and the wind-facing sides of the arms. This textile is light and stretchy, it’s a two-layer fabric that opens up to breathe closes down when faced with the cold. Equally important is the RXQ fabric used on the back, which is fleeced to create warmth, but still allows vapor to escape. As it has generous stretch, Assos deploys their stabilizer panel, both to limit the vertical stretch to keep overfull pockets from bouncing and to help form the jacket around your body. Ten fabrics in all are used. Because this is Assos, fit is paramount. This is performanceclickFit, meaning if it fits right, it will feel a bit odd when you first put it on, with slightly too-narrow shoulders and a waist that seems a bit high. But reach for the bars and everything clicks into place, and feels natural and just right. They get to this point with fourteen panels, which, far from limiting fit, dials fit in to a near second-skin comfort. Because this jacket comes in black, there’s a reflective stripe on the rear pockets and a bio-luminescent strip across the rear waist hem. With the Assos habuJacketLaalalai, cold will never be as threatening.
