Women force for change

Some are the force for change , they are the change.  This art explains the phases we women go through, saluting Mahsa Amini - the 22 Iranian woman who was murdered because she wasn’t wearing hejab according to the government rules. Since September 16 protests started in Tehran, and women all over the world protested for the women rights of choice! In this piece of art it shows the veil in different parts of the canvas, it’s a symbol of society expectations and limitations for women, that women’s lives start when she gets married -the white veil-  of course this includes the white pure virginity, all about purity! While women’s lives and freedom history are full of blood - resembled in the red handmade embroidery on the canvas, this is her own thumbnail of change! This is the price for growth, for birth, for freedom.
