Aspen 12×18

One of the Largest Spa Enclosures: Room for Hot Tub, Furniture, and More The Aspen 12×18 is one of Westview’s larger composite spa enclosures, offering enough interior space for an 8-foot square hot tub along with entry steps, a sofa, a coffee table, and still room to move comfortably around the space. For homeowners who want their enclosed gazebo to function as an all-season outdoor living room rather than just a hot tub cover, the Aspen 12×18 delivers that vision in the distinctive warm terracotta and dark brown West Coast design that sets the Aspen line apart. The 12×18 also works as a shelter for a compact swim spa, (up to approximately 14 feet in length). Homeowners who find the 12×16 too tight for their swim spa but do not need the full 20-foot length of the 12×20 will find the Aspen 12×18 to be the ideal size. The extra length provides clearance around the spa for safe entry and exit, maintenance access, and a small seating area at one end. Ultrawood with the Aspen’s Signature Warmth Built from Ultrawood composite, the Aspen 12×18 delivers the grain texture and warmth of natural wood without a single maintenance requirement. No staining, no sealing, no sanding, no replacing rotted boards. The terracotta color is engineered into the material, not applied as a coating, which means it retains its character for the entire lifespan of the structure. For a gazebo this size, the maintenance savings compared to a cedar or redwood building are substantial — hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours over the years. The Aspen’s signature rounded corners and dark brown accent trim give the 12×18 a warm, architectural appearance that customers describe as looking like a professionally built room addition rather than a prefab kit. One owner mentioned that she calls it her she-shed because of the look — high praise for what starts as a flat-pack delivery. Duraflex Roof Engineered for Northern Winters The Duraflex PC roof is rated at up to 35 lbs. per square foot of snow load, capacity. or 40 lbs.  with the bracket upgrade. At this larger roof span, the engineering behind the Duraflex system becomes especially important — more surface area means more accumulated snow and rain. The hardtop polycarbonate roof handles it consistently. A centered skylight provides natural light and a view of the sky, while six aluminum-framed sliding lockable windows provide full control over ventilation, temperature, and privacy. One Aspen 12×18 owner reported that assembly took approximately 11 hours, noting that a taller step ladder would have made the roof installation easier on their raised platform. That is real-world feedback that future buyers can plan around: bring a tall ladder and budget a full day for the build. Doors, Layout, and Versatile Use Two lockable aluminum swing French doors can be positioned on any side. The Aspen 12×18 is commonly purchased for hot tub and swim spa use, but the generous interior also works as a backyard lounge, garden office, fitness room, or outdoor entertaining space. When locked, the doors and windows create a fully secure, weather-sealed enclosure that protects your investment and your privacy. Assembly, Shipping, and Upgrades The Aspen 12×18 ships as a pre-assembled panel kit in a steel-framed crate to the nearest freight terminal. Residential curbside delivery is also available in most areas. Westview offers up to one year of complimentary storage for customers whose site is not yet ready. Optional screen kits, tempered glass windows, and roof bracket supports can be bundled at a package discount. Call 1-800- 895-1972 for sizing help or delivery details.
