Askar Autofocusing (AF) Kit for SQA55 Refractor

The SQA55 AF Kit is an astronomical accessory specially designed for the SQA55, which can be used with almost all brands of electronic focusers to realize automatic focusing. By using this kit, users can more easily make focus adjustments to their telescopes, thus improving the precision and efficiency of astronomical observations. SQA55 AF kit includes many parts: Three different lengths MXL synchronous belt, one MXL synchronous pulley, one tensioner pulley, three different types Allen wrenches, two M4*10mm screws, one M4*14*5mm screw, one M3*40mm screw, one M4*6mm screw, two M3*10mm screws, two M4*12mm screws. Attention: The SQA55 and all electronic focusers that appear in the illustrations are not included in this kit and are for display only. Q: The SQA55 itself can be adapted to electronic focusers, what are the advantages of the SQA55 AF kit? A:1. Many original adapter plates of electronic focusers are too long, which limits the type of camera or accessory that can be connected to the back of the telescope when in use. However, the SQA55 AF Kit is specially designed with a special length of adapter plate, which allows the SQA55 to be subsequently connected to any accessory required by the user. 2. Most of the original electronic focuser synchronous belts will have an unavoidable backlash, thus affecting the focusing accuracy. The SQA55 AF kit with a tensioner pulley can be used to adjust the synchronous belt to a tight state, which improves the focusing accuracy. 3. Most of the original electronic focuser installation steps are cumbersome. The SQA55 AF kit can be disassembled and assembled as a whole and can be installed in different positions of the SQA55 lens tube to reserve more space for the installation of other required accessories. 4. The SQA55 AF kit is adapted to almost all electronic focusers; if the user chooses a different brand of electronic focuser, it can be easily installed and used. Q: If I use an electronic focuser with a larger hole distance like the one produced by Pegasus Astro, how do I use the SQA55 AF kit? A: The L-shaped adapter plate of the SQA55 AF kitt is fully hollow design, just screw down the M4*12 fixing screws, flip theL-shaped adapter plate in the direction, adjust the spacing of the L-shaped adapter plate to a suitable position, and then screw the M4*12 screws on to lock it
