Askar 120APO

Discover the Vastness of Space with Askar 120APO A Superior Astronomical Telescope Superior Light Gathering: The Askar 120APO's 120mm aperture offers a 36% increase in light gathering compared to the 103APO, ensuring exceptional image brightness, clarity, and detail capture. Advanced Optical Design: Features a triplet air-spaced APO design with one piece of ED glass, providing remarkable correction of chromatic aberration and delivering images with superior color fidelity and sharpness. Versatile and Powerful: Equipped with a 1x flattener and a 0.8x reducer, the 120APO maintains an f/7 focal ratio with the flattener, enhancing field curvature and coma correction. The 0.8x reducer brings the focal ratio down to f/5.6, broadening the field of view for capturing expansive celestial phenomena. Robust Mechanical Construction: The astrograph is constructed from lightweight yet durable materials, weighing only 6.5kg with the tube rings. It includes a retractable dew shield and enlarged locking screws for easy handling and lens protection. Enhanced Usability: Features dual finder bases for easy accessory installation without disassembly, an extended handle with a slot design for additional accessory mounting, and a sturdy 3.3-inch dual-speed rack and pinion focuser with CNC machining and anti-reflective coating to minimize stray light. Precision Engineering: The focuser includes a 360° high-precision big rotator with detailed scale markings for accurate adjustments, alongside a robust rotator locking screw that ensures stability even under heavy loads. Universal Compatibility: Comes with a standard Vixen dovetail plate, extended for better balance, and compatible with most equatorial mounts. A Losmandy dovetail plate is also available for different mounting options. Aesthetic and Practical Design: The tube's ivory-white finish with orange accents enhances its visual appeal, making it not only a high-performance tool for serious astronomers but also a stylish addition to any observatory. The Askar 120APO is designed for both newcomers and seasoned astronomers, offering a high-end, user-friendly experience that excels in deep-sky astrophotography and visual observation.
