ÀSÌKÒ

THE STORY OF ÀSÌKÒ In Yoruba thought, Àsìkò is not time as it is counted. It is time as it is understood. It refers to moments that carry consequence. To seasons that arrive only when they are ready. To progress shaped by patience rather than urgency. Àsìkò reflects the belief that time has character. This watch was created from that belief. At its foundation, Àsìkò is an exercise in restraint and clarity. What is revealed is intentional. What remains concealed is respected. The semi-open dial offers a measured view into the movement, not for display, but as acknowledgement. Time is always in motion, even when it appears still. The NH70 automatic movement was selected for its architectural openness, stability, and long-term dependability. Its layout allows the wearer to observe the rhythm of time without distraction. Nothing is exaggerated. Nothing is hidden without reason. Sapphire crystal protects the dial, chosen for its clarity and resistance to wear. It preserves the watch’s presence through years of use. A 10 ATM water resistance enables the watch to withstand water depths associated with swimming and recreational diving, reinforcing Àsìkò’s role as a timepiece designed for real conditions. The FKM rubber strap reflects a modern understanding of luxury. Durable, comfortable, and refined, it supports activity without compromise.
